Is Convertmio free?
Yes. The tools are free to use without an account. There are no watermarks on output files.
Do you keep my files?
No. Files are processed for the job only and deleted automatically after the retention window (up to 60 minutes). We do not index or reuse uploads.
What is the maximum file size?
The upload limit is 5 GB per file. Very large media jobs can take longer and may be subject to per-tool timeouts.
Do I need an account?
No account is required for the tools. An account is only needed for features that store history or preferences.
Which formats are supported?
PDF, Word, common image formats (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, TIFF), audio (MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, AAC), video (MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WebM) and common developer/text formats.
Are uploads scanned for malware?
Yes. Uploads are scanned with ClamAV before processing. A file that fails the scan is rejected and removed.
